Rowllin Borges

Following his successful loan stint with the club during the 2023-24 season, Rowllin Borges has signed a new contract with the Gaurs, committing his future to the Gaurs for the 2024-25 season.

A native of Nuvem, Goa, Borges has been a stalwart in Indian football, amassing over 200 appearances in the nation’s top-flight leagues. His journey began with Sporting Clube de Goa and East Bengal FC in the I-League, where he made significant contributions when the league was India’s premier division.

The Indian international later transitioned to the Indian Super League (ISL), representing NorthEast United, Mumbai City, and finally FC Goa, where he has become an integral part of the squad.

The 2023-24 season marked one of Borges’ best individual campaigns, where he showcased his talent and consistency. The 32-year-old scored 5 goals in 25 matches, helping FC Goa reach the semi-finals of the Durand Cup and the ISL Cup Playoffs. The Gaurs also secured a commendable third-place finish in the ISL League Stage, finishing just three points behind champions Mohun Bagan Super Giant.
