FC Goa start ISL campaign on November 22nd against arch-rival Mumbai City FC
FC Goa will start the 2021/22 season of the Indian Super League with a clash against arch-rivals Mumbai City FC on November 22 at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda in what is billed as an ‘away’ clash for the Gaurs.
Juan Ferrando’s men, who will be calling the SAG Athletic Stadium in Bambolim their home this season will play their first ‘home game’ on November 26 when they host Jamshedpur FC.
The Gaurs will then again be on the travel to start off December as they face NorthEast United and SC East Bengal in Fatorda and the Tilak Maidan Stadium in Vasco respectively before returning to home comforts to host Bengaluru FC. The clash against the Blues will be Goa’s first for the new 9:30 pm kickoff.
The Men in Orange will again see their game kick-off at 9:30 pm a few days later – this time against Hyderabad FC. The final two games of the calendar year 2020 will see FC Goa be on the road to take on Odisha FC and ATK Mohun Bagan.
The new year sees FC Goa clash against Kerala Blasters on January 2nd and then against Chennaiyin on January 8.
