Under-16 GFA League: Young Gaurs defeat Sporting 4-0
The FC Goa Under-16 team produced a clinical display to defeat the Sporting Clube de Goa U-16s at the Fatorda Stadium on Friday.
Antonio Pereira’s boys started with Salgeo up front, flanked by Bryson and Davis. The young Gaurs started well and took the lead in the 12th minute.
Rayan got the first of his two goals on the evening when his sweetly-struck free-kick found the back of the net. Davis scored on the stroke of half-time to make it 3-0 to the young Gaurs.
FC Goa were then awarded a penalty in the 81st minute as Rayan bagged his second of the evening to put the icing on the cake. With this win, FC Goa Under-16s now have 6 points from 2 games in the GFA U-16 league.

Dramapur: Dempo overpowered Churchill Brothers 9-0 in an one-sided clash at the Dramapur ground. Shreyash Naik led the way with 5 goals to his name.
Sanquelim: Sesa Football Academy defeated SAI TC by a solitary goal. Defender Sanjoy converted a spot-kick to hand his team a 1-0 win.
