A native of Agassaim in Goa, Rayan Menezes plays as a central defender who possesses good aerial ability in addition to being a ball-playing center-back. He started his footballing journey at the age of seven, before joining FC Goa at the U14 level. Over the years, he then rose through the ranks and was a mainstay in the Club’s development team for over three seasons before getting promoted to the senior side ahead of the Hero Super Cup in 2023.

In doing so, the 21-year-old also became the first player from the Club to make his way to the First Team all the way from the grassroots level. And now, he will hope to make his senior debut in the upcoming 2023-24 season.
