5 things you don’t know about me – Makan Winkle Chothe

Hi guys. I’m delighted to be at FC Goa, and while a lot of you are waiting for me to get on the pitch and start playing for the Gaurs, we may still need to wait a while before that is possible.

I’m so happy to finally be here, and I’m eager to repay the faith the club has shown in me, but for now, I’d like to share a bit about me that you perhaps did not know.

#1 I like playing volleyball

Outside of football, there are a few things I enjoy doing, and one of them is playing volleyball.

Sports is essential to stay fit and enjoy life, and when I don’t play football, I like indulging in a bit of volleyball with friends to stay mentally and physically active.

#2 I love playing video games

A lot of us have been trying to spend our time constructively during lockdown, but I personally enjoy unwinding by playing some video games.

It’s a good stress buster and a decent way to connect with friends even when we’re stuck at our homes.

#3 I prefer running instead of gymming

As athletes, we do need to make sure we stay fit and healthy, and gymming is a key component of what we do, but I personally prefer running.

Going on a run has several benefits, and it stimulates the body and mind, keeping me fresh while also keeping me fit.

#4 I like playing table tennis

One of the best games to play indoors is table tennis. What a fun sport this actually is!

It can often get competitive with friends and family, but is a great way to have fun while exercising too. I personally love swinging the racquet around and urge all of you to develop at the sport too.

#5 I enjoy hiking

When it comes to outdoor activity, hiking is another thing that I really enjoy. I will never lose the opportunity to find a hiking trip and explore it with my friends.

Nature is such a wonderful thing, and few things in life are more rewarding than challenging yourself over a nice little hike.
