Coro wins ISL ‘Hero of the month’ award for December

FC Goa had a December to remember, and at the heart of it all was none other than Ferran Corominas.

The man known as Coro scored four goals and bagged an assist in the month of December, and was adjudged the ‘Hero of the month’ by the Indian Super League (ISL).

The Spaniard was at his ruthless best throughout the month, but faced competition from the likes of FC Goa’s own Brandon Fernandes, Kerala Blasters’ Raphael Messi Bouli, Chennaiyin’s Rafael Crivellaro and Roy Krishna of ATK for the prestigious award.

In the end however, Coro took home the spoils for his consistent performances throughout December and few can argue with the decision.

The striker showed some of his class just moments after being presented with the award, as he scored the second Gaurs goal against NorthEast United at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda.

The goal takes Coro’s tally for the season to an impressive eight goals, and keeps him tied with ATK FC’s Roy Krishna at the top of the charts.

With plenty of games still to play, expect the clinical Coro to win a few more top honours before the season comes to an end.
