FC Goa will look to reclaim the top spot in the ISL table on Wednesday night when they take on Hyderabad FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda, Goa.

The Gaurs are on a run of two wins on the trot as they overcame the challenge of Kerala Blaster 3-2 in their previous home game before inflicting a first defeat at the Kalinga Stadium upon Odisha FC.

And now, they will look to carry on that momentum into their fixture against Hyderabad, a team that the Gaurs beat 1-0 in the away leg earlier this season.

Heading into the game, here are 10 things you need to know:

1 – Jackichand Singh’s brace in the previous game was the first time the man from Manipur has bagged a brace in an Indian Super League game.

4 – The Gaurs are currently on their best run of form at home, having won all four of their last four matches at Fatorda – registering victories over ATK, Odisha, NorthEast United and Kerala Blasters. This is the first time that FC Goa has won four on the bounce at home. Their previous best saw them win 3 on the trot at home – once in 2014 and twice last season.

5 – Mohammad Nawaz has conceded only 5 goals at home this season in the ISL. The only two teams to have conceded fewer goals than the Gaurs’ custodian are Gurpreet Singh Sandhu (4) and Arindam Bhattacharya (4).

10 – Odisha’s first goal scored by Manuel Onwu in the 59th minute of the last game was the 10th time FC Goa have conceded a goal within 15 minutes of the restart.

14 – FC Goa have scored 14 goals in their 7 home games so far. The only two teams to have scored more goals at home than the Gaurs are Chennaiyin (16) and Kerala Blasters (15).

18 – Of the 20 goals conceded by FC Goa this season, 18 have been conceded in the second half of games

29: If games were to be stopped at half-time, FC Goa would have a total of 29 points with 8 wins, 5 draws and 2 losses to their name.

33 – No team has conceded as many goals as Hyderabad this season. The rookies have not been able to find a grip in their first campaign, conceding 33 times in their 15 games.
